About Me

Bachelor's of Science: I developed my critical thinking skills and and work ethic while in college. I graduated with a degree in biology and a minor in physics.

Biomedical Research Assistant: I conducted immunology research at Texas's Children's Hospital and Northwestern University. I studied the roles of Human Endothelial PECAM and the LBRC in Leukocyte Transmigration, focusing on hemodynamic shear stress. It was in biomedical research that I began to love the intricacies of data analysis and illustration.

UX Designer/Angular Developer: Leaving academia, I became a freelance UX designer working with several organizations to improve site usability. I taught myself JavaScript and began to work with Angular. My technical background and intuitive UX practices transitioned into a career as a Front-end web developer.
2018-2020
Software Developer: I joined Sytech as a Full-stack software developer who was responsible for the redesign of the ADACS webclient and the ongoing migration from AngularJS to Angular 4. I have refactored over 100k lines of legacy code to meet new business requirement and implemented an improved way to query audit trails in SQL, leading to the discovery of over 2000 expired client licenses.
